The role of the Human Resource Office is to establish and maintain positive relations with all employees – past, present and future. Some of the responsibilities of the Human Resource Office include recruitment, policy development and administration, contract negotiations, benefit administration, and coordination of the substitute teacher and paraeducators program.

Substitute Employment Opportunities
In an effort to serve our employees better; Midland County Educational Service Agency (MCESA) has paired with the Professional Educational Services Group, LLC (PESG). We offer substitute positions for teachers and paraeducators to qualified people for the MCESA Special Education classrooms as well as special education classrooms in our local school districts (Bullock Creek, Coleman, Meridian, and Midland). Teacher Substitutes must have 90 or more credit hours from a four year university or college and Substitute Paraeducators must be at least 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or GED. Pay starts at $11.66/hour to substitute teach and $8.00/hour to be a substitute paraeducators at the MCESA (other schools vary).
